During this current climate we want to work with you to ensure that you can offer a safe retail experience for your supporters; whilst still optimizing their shopping experience with you.
In order to assist you with social distancing and providing an efficient service to your supporters, we are working on enhancing our click and collect offering to now include dedicated, timed collection slots for your customers to collect their orders.
This will enable you to create time slots in the back office and you can manage the parameters including;
- the start and end time for collection each day
- the time period of each slot e.g. 1 hour , 2 hour
- the lead time from order placement e.g. 1 or 2 days
- the number of orders for each slot
- Saturday and Sundays can be included or excluded by default.
Once these settings have been created in the back office, a collection slot can be chosen by the purchaser from a list of available time slots when placing an order online and also through the Telesales module when receiving phone orders. When picking and packing, orders can be limited to a collect up to date to enable the earliest dates to be processed first.
